As a strategic human resources professional, Heather has experience in change management, diversity and inclusion, employee engagement, leadership development, organizational culture, recognition, strategic planning, and talent acquisition. She is action-oriented with demonstrated success developing leaders and individual contributors through coaching and team development, in both English and French, ensuring activities are linked to the broader organizational goals and strategies.
As a consultant, Heather had over 16 years developing targeted solutions to increase organizational and leadership capabilities in a range of industries including consumer packaged goods, engineering/EPCM, healthcare, insurance, professional services, retail, and telecommunications. She has a Masters in Organizational Diversity. In 2017, Heather joined Hatch, an engineering consulting firm headquartered in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada and is currently the Global Director, Talent Acquisition. With an inclusion lens, she takes a collaborative team approach to finding top talent in new and innovative ways, always using our Manifesto as our guide. Heather also participates on the Global D&I Action Committee.
Outside of work, Heather is involved in charitable board work as Chair of Halton Women’s Place, a shelter serving women and children fleeing domestic violence, and Treasurer of CanTeach Connections, an education-focused charity supporting the teaching and learning of English in El Salvador.
