Anita Szaloky is the Director of Human Resources for The Corporation of The City of Brantford. She has been in the role since May of 2011 after progressing through various positions in the Human Resources Department at the City of Brantford over her 24-year career with the municipality. In 2020, the City of Brantford was selected as a Finalist for a Canadian HR Award in the category of Most Innovative Use of HR Technology for the City’s digital transformation of the onboarding process. Previously Anita worked for an insurance company in Waterloo and a toy manufacturer in Toronto. She graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University with an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration degree and has held Human Resources certification from the HR Professionals Association since 1994. She is a regular blood donor with over 110 whole blood donations and in her leisure time loves to complete extreme Sudoku puzzles.
