Manager of Corporate Information

After a decade of international consulting in the fields of Finance and ERP systems, Kris returned to western Canada and worked with Shell Canada and WestJet before moving to Ontario and starting his career with the City of Brantford. Throughout his working life he has consistently straddled the IT and Business areas and thrives in either, but he is most effective when working as an integrator.

He is currently the Manager of Corporate Information and leads a team of IT professionals who implement, develop, and support a broad range of corporate applications. Over a span of 13 years with the City of Brantford he has managed or worked on dozens of business improvement projects ranging from ERP implementations and data conversions to digital transformation projects and business improvement efforts. In 2019/2020, Kris led a cross-departmental team that earned three industry awards for their work on the digital transformation of the employee onboarding process

Kris graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with a Degree of Distinction in Finance and also holds the Project Management Professional (PMP) designation. He is a life-long learner, constantly seeking to build a diversity of experiences and knowledge.

Outside of work, Kris is a passionate sailor and cruises the Great Lakes with his family, is a voracious reader and writer, and is always exploring effective ways to limit his family’s impact on the environment.
